ABOUT

After deciding to settle in this beautiful town of Toowoomba we purchased this beautiful 1900's workers cottage in 2019. We absolutely adore this cottage and the original features it still offers to this day. We love nothing more than sharing our beautiful cottage with our guests. Our cottage is self-contained and we do our best to ensure that the cottage is well stocked with all the essentials to make a perfect homely stay! We are also locals and are more than happy to assist in anyway we can - please don't hesitate to ask.

What we love most about our property is that it is pet friendly. We have three beautiful Labradors, Charlie, Summer & Tucker. They are our fur 'children' and mean the world to us so we take them just about everywhere we can! They're also very involved with the cottage, and often come around to help with gardening and enjoy wandering the large yard.

As locals ourselves we love the close proximity to the CBD, including Grand Central Shopping Centre and the Empire Theatre. The Cottage is only a very short drive to the City Golf Club, Toowoomba Base Hospital, Queens Park, Gabbinbar Homestead making it a popular choice for many.
We're excited to share that we have just completed some renovations including the addition of a second bathroom and internal laundry. The cottage has also had a fresh coat of paint and the timber floors restored. Booking direct via the website or giving us a call is most affordable, saving booking fee's and commissions for everyone. If you can't find your requested dates or you have a special request, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll let you know what we have to offer. To avoid disappointment we do encourage you to book well in advance.

THE COTTAGE
Situated in the quiet Jacaranda lined streets of South Toowoomba is a charming 1900's workers' cottage. Although the cottage has had some refurbishments over the years there is still plenty to admire, including the Pressed Metal Ceilings, Timber Floors and Fireplace. Ambiente Cottage boasts a large secure backyard, meaning that some of the most important members of the family can visit - pets! We strive to offer a home away from home and are known for our extra 'touches'. You will find the kitchen stocked full of appliances and pantry items. We also offer a continental breakfast for our guests on arrival for use throughout their stay.

The cottage is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom accommodating up to 6 guests. The two main bedrooms have a queen size bed with 2 single beds in the third bedroom. We also have a cot and highchair that are available on request. All linen is supplied. Each bedroom and living area has a reverse cycle air-conditioner to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
Newly completed renovations have seen the addition of a second bathroom. The newest bathroom boasts a level access shower.
The laundry is fully functional and available for guests to use.

A continental breakfast a long with an array of condiments and pantry staples (oil, flour, rice, pasta etc) are available for guests, complimentary.

Housekeeping
​
Weekly or Fortnightly Housekeeping is available for stays greater than 7 nights however should you require additional cleans throughout your stay we are happy to facilitate this at an additional cost.

Cancellations - Due to the popularity of the cottage we ask for as much notice as possible for cancellation of bookings. Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to check in will receive 100% refund. A refund for cancellation made within 7 days of check-in is subject to our ability to fulfil the cancelled booking period.
Pet(s)
If you haven't already heard, we're pet friendly! We do ask that you let us know the type and number of pets that you're bringing and you comply with our pet/council rules. We love our cottage so please note additional cleaning fee's may apply should there be any additional cleaning or damages as a result of bringing a pet.

We also have some bowls & pet towels/blankets.
Large Garage
​
The whole property is available for use during your stay, including our secure shed. We encourage guests to park on the premise and are more than happy for you to park in the shed.
